Rehabilitation in Rogers AR

The adjustment alone will not sustain corrections to your spine. It is important to maintain these corrections with specific exercises and therapy. We use whole body vibration and specific body weighting in order to strengthen weak areas of your body and neurologically retrain how your body thinks.

Gait Training

Our posture has the ability to drastically change our gait patterns. Gait training has the ability to “reprogram” the brain. The body weights further facilitate the “reprogramming” process.

Whole Body Vibration Exercise

Vibration stimulation overrides the body’s posture and balance signals. By using whole body vibration and this specialized body weighting system the body can be re-educated. Whole body vibration also has an astounding affect on bone physiology. Vibration therapy has also been shown to increase bone density. To find out more about vibration therapy call our office today.

Body Weighting System

Isometric exercises are important when correcting posture. Your body has two different types of muscles, slow and fast twitch fibers. Postural muscles are mostly slow twitch. Slow twitch muscle fibers respond most appropriately to isometric exercises. By using the body weights your postural muscles are isometrically contracting to maintain the weights. Correcting posture is correcting spinal alignment.
